I like socializing with the group sometimes, but outdoors stuff is rarely my jam with them. I go rock climbing and camping on occasion, but Matt-bot was telling me how they took like 2 hours to go 1.5 miles on a flat river trail and I would have LOST MY MIND. Someone said, "I bet Birdie is gonna be sad she missed this hike!" and Matt-bot responded, "Anything less than 6 miles is a scenic walk and Birdie would have been so bored."

I mean, meander if you wanna meander! Just don't drag me into it, please! I mostly hike alone cause I don't wanna have to make conversation or wait on other people or eye twitch while everyone spends longer debating where they want to go then actually being there. That just isn't fun for me and I think it would be both lame for me and lame for everyone else if I'm miffed about the situation, so it made wayyyyy more sense for me to pal around at home with the pets and go on my own day adventure. Tbh, a few days apart here and there is also fairly relaxing for the bot and I & I'm always unamused when other people feel the need to give us opinions we didn't ask for when it comes to that.

Why do they always have to stick their nose where it doesn't belong? And it's over stupid shit too. I could get it if I/you were black and blue with bruises and flinch when touched tier shit. But SIL tried to say he was controlling and to leave him because he told me I wouldn't like a dressing on a sandwich so I shouldn't ruin my meal. SIL had to pull me aside to 'have a talk' because that meant he was abusive. She had no clue that I've asked him to tell me what doesn't work well together because my culinary expertise are baking eggs and making sad sandwich that I hate lmao.
