    I am 1/8th German and took 1 day of German in college but never went back when I had to withdraw because I got the chicken pox and flu at the same time >.< Maybe some year I'll do the duolingo thing. I'd like to learn Irish (Gaelic) as well. Some day....

    Memrise is really good too! I don't see it hyped as much as Duolingo so I always try to throw it out there cuz it's one of the ways I'm learning Japanese.

    I don't speak German so it's not like it affects me, but given that they are asking for German speakers in the U.S., they really should pay $0.02-0.04.
