GUARD YOUR CREDIT.

I know y'all hear how unaffordable California is. Well, it is in some places, but I have had a few two bedrooms up at $1095 for weeks and just lowered one to $995, and while that is high for some parts of this great nation, that's a pretty good deal for California (where we have a current minimum wage of $12.00 so two people working two minimum wage jobs way more than income qualify! One could even be part time!).

I have turned down no less than 10 people in two weeks who are completely income qualified but their credit is around 500 (which is too low to qualify with us).

I feel horrid turning good people away, but I legally have to have a minimum criteria and I legally have to enforce it with everyone

so, keep your credit good, kiddoes, and if it's not so good right now work hard to get it to at least 600. If you need some tips on how to improve credit you can PM me for free advice and I'll share with you what I share with all of our applicants.
