Well, there are several ergonomic mech keyboards, obviously, but to find something that would perform better you're looking at ~$250+.

If money is no object, a KA2 with red switches is my recommendation, but that's really something a person should try out before dropping the ~$350. But, I can get ~20% faster typing speed on a KA2, so depending on how much you write, it could be worth it. I usually just use an ergo4k at home, though, because I don't have room to set up a numpad comfortably, and I don't like toggle numpad.

I still really wish they would make a ka3 with a numpad in the huge central void, and a row or two of macro keys across the top.
