Requesters are just as clueless as the workers are but with less resources to get help.

 

If only mturk built templates that didn't use that crowd element we'd be in blissful harmony with the pennies

 

And then how the average mturk worker responds to this you'd think the requester went around stabbing the worker's family instead of just being incompetent with the platform. It's a stupid cycle.

 

Why would he care if he knows idiots will always be around to do it? Like there are seriously people bragging about making $3/hr on mturk and they think they're doing good.

 

I want to punch the guy that made the crowd elements template. It was bad enough when it was only on masters hits and MLD but now everything seems to use it.

 

Not as bad as the non iframe template that is nearly impossible for requesters to use. By default pressing enter to submit that template now returns it.

It is 10/10.

The old cat masters templates is how everything on mturk should be.. slightly bad, but not too bad to keep everyone away and not too bad to make people complain to do something about it, but just bad enough (+ simple enough) that fixing it made absolutely everything that even tried to use it
