    I don't know what my nonexistent partner smells like but armpits normally either smell bad, nothing, or like a chemical to keep them from smelling bad. :dunno:

    This HIT requires that you have two telephone devices. Each of these can be a landline service,
    your cellular phone, or a voice-over-IP system (e.g. Skype). You will be
    asked to make 15 calls during which you will read a brief script.

    Your voice will be recorded and used for audio research purposes.
    No information other than your gender, location, and place of birth
    will be combined with the audio recording. Your recording will only be used internally
    - we will never share it with any third parties and it will never be used for other
    commercial purposes.

    The phone service will prompt you at the end of each call with a
    verification code to be entered into the Mechanical Turk system:
    this is how we are able to record your successful task.
    Performing the tasks in this HIT means that you consent to us

    And it's sad :( Some days I really do feel like the dog sniffing for crumbs on the floor. I'm intelligent and capable and due to circumstances am looking to supplement income this way. I wish that requesters would maybe just set a threshold that you could at least shoot for (some do, I know) - and then you'd at least know what hoops you have to jump through. But by just making you request and then never hearing back on the majority, you start questioning what you are doing wrong.

    I know...I need some cheese to go with my whine....
