    You wouldnt have stayed for that one where im from. 20 foot storm surge is nothing to mess around with. We was out of commission for months. Things still arent back to the way they were pre-katrina.

    Yeah, this is pretty much what happens here. Since the swamp is across the street and I'm on a dead end road it usually just cuts us off from "the mainland".

    We quickly revert to cavemen with the loss of our technology and contact to the outside world.
