in the days of my childhood in Central America the AC at school broke on a weekly basis. We were 50 kids packed in the same room with poor air circulation wearing polos for 8 hours or so. I'm half surprised I didn't die..... I always had a seat by the window that was a foot above me lol

In North America, in the 70s and 80s, they didn't give a shit if us kids sweltered in 100 degree heat. Our rooms either had no a/c or they weren't working.

I don't recall having a/c at school, lol. I think we did sometimes, but it was seriously unreliable. And they always made us gtfo at recess, no one cared about skin cancer or sunburns or dehydration. We ran our happy little butts off on the 50 bazillion degree asphalt playground.

 

I sent one on Friday with no response. TV shows that they have responded to some but I think I'm going to just contact mturk about it.

 

LOL. We aren't an apartment complex. This is legit in an office building. We have about 600 sq ft and only desks

We are lucky, our guy is getting to all the calls by tomorrow! That's some pretty impressive turnaround time in this heatwave!
