Bearnie is pretty chill about it when I burrito him, but Porgy LOST HIS MIND when he was sick. I think it didn't help he was feverish and real cranky, but I was literally trying to hydrate him with a dropper and feed him formula and he was trying to kick me in the face in a rage. He's normally the chillest cat in the world, so it was disconcerting. I think Bearnie is used to getting sick and just expected me to forcibly care for him while Porgy has never been sick in his adult life and didn't take it well.

Coug tho, HOLY HELL. He doesn't like to be TOUCHED, so capturing him (cornerning him in a locked room) and then burritoing him to give him antibiotics when his foot was all messed up was the worst nightmare of my life. I've basically blacked out the level of crazy it was. By the time I managed to even catch him, which usually involved dragging him from under the bed, he was freaking out so much. I couldn't even get him an antibiotic shot instead at the time, cause he was "quarantined," and they wouldn't give me permission to take him to my vet.

When Bearnie was too spooked to come back home a couple years back, we all debated the merits of tranq darting him. Turns out, they don't make a small enough dose for a cat! Who knew!
