So yesterday when I went to give blood, they said they were gonna take my platelets because I'm AB+ and that's super rare. I was thinking, wait up, you mean plasma donation like poor kids do in college? Then they told me I could come back in two days and give platelets again. You can only give blood once every 60 days, but apparently they can take your platelets twice a week.

If it works the same and everyone can give more, why not just make everyone give platelets?
