I love it when I get alerts for high temps. Like, no shit, Sherlock. It's often over 100 here in the summer. No need to let me know, I'm aware of where I live and that it's often June - Sept.

 

Everyone freaks out when it rains and stares at the sky like a stupid turkey. It's less shocking during the weird weather season when it snows/rains some, but the rest of the year? MASS CONFUSION!

I got an alert for "noticably cooler" and it was 105. FOR REAL? HOW IS THAT COOLER? I get how it's TECHNICALLY cooler than the day before, but COME ON, nobody is like, "Oh goody! It's only 105 today!"`

Anything over 102 is just horrid. 102, 110, all the same to me.

I admit when we get the random, weird rain in the summer here I'm like a turkey. I have all my not waterproof summer stuff out because IT DOESN'T RAIN HERE IN THE SUMMER. Or, it didn't used to! Once I stop gawping at the mysterious substance falling from the sky, I then run around like a mad woman trying to shove allthethings I don't want getting wet under a cover. (I love my grill, it's fancy and nice, and I don't want it to get wet!)

 

The doggos were very perplexed by the sky water.

We have the opposite problem in Pennsylvania.

Is there a real difference between 10 , 0, and -15? Once you hit a certain threshold, it's just "really fkn cold".

 

Also imagine not living somewhere where it's never really too hot or too cold. I mean, are you people even trying? Just like, move somewhere where the weather doesn't suck, gosh.

 

When Matt's Mom was here, she was VERY CONFUSED why it wasn't warm and sunny. Cause...we live in California.

Yeah, sure, we also live up a mountain and it's March...so like, ya know?
