If I keep money someone tells me they sent by mistake, in my book, that makes me a thief. No amount of rationalizing or sugar coating will change that. Keeping money I KNOW doesn't belong to me, I haven't earned, someone has to suffer if I keep it because it's coming out of someone else's pocket? That is theft and downright nasty.
