the other day i got to my farmers market early so i walked along the river and saw a straight up turf war between ducks. mama duck 1 with her babies were hanging out, having a good day, then she went fishing and left her babies behind. mama duck 2 came in with her older babies, and started chasing group 1's babies away for no good reason. mama duck 1 swooped back in like wtf bro, and mama duck 2 peaced out with her brood while mama 1 and babies reclaimed their rightful place. this was a long story for no reason.
