There's a bunch of factors I consider when looking at the Chiefs. Can you be confident in Reid's clock management in crucial situations? Is the defense going to improve with the new coach? Teams will definitely study successful game films to slow down the Chiefs' offense, which is why I think they take a small step back this year. They'll still be a great team barring injuries, but don't expect them to produce the same numbers again.

I agree with this. Luck is just injury prone. Chargers not having Gordon might come back to bite them.
