It's just spicy enough that you can keep drinking it without switching to something else. The back of my throat and my lips are burning a bit after three glasses though. Kinda like good salsa.

 

i've had pepper beers and they've been... less than great. but tajin might actually work.

 

I ruined a night out drinking years ago by starting out with a half pint of a ghost pepper stout. Could not taste anything the rest of the night.

 

i can't wait for hockey to start. i'm bored to tears

 

effing yes please. i've been watching old games on youtube lately in the background while i work. which doesn't work well, because i don't get a lot of work done. but. hockey.

 

Most are terrible, but I live a hundred miles from the Hatch Valley, so there's a lot of good ones around here.

The one I'll never try again is Ghost Face Killah. It's like 5 of the spiciest chiles packed into one beer. It was just painful. Really good as a marinade though.

i can't remember the only one i had that i liked, but it was at a beer and cheese pairing and it was paired with paneer i think, which is probably the only reason it worked.
