    I'm just thinking outside the box here, but have you tried sucking at your job?

    If you went that route, you wouldn't know when other people suck at theirs, and then this kind of thing wouldn't even be a worry

    @gurlondrums speaking of which....so at work I'm responsible for making sure all 1600 something servers in the company get patches on time, and I've started sending out support tickets to the associated teams basically telling them to fix their shit. So I get those tickets for our team and try to do something with them, but basically all I do is close them which bumps up my ticket closing numbers. My boss came over to me the other day and was like "Hey @ThisPoorGuy, you closed like 400% more tickets than everyone else on the team, great work!"

    We had a director for about a year that went to West Point who loved that he went there and would remind us constantly. He was like a drill sergeant, who cared about nothing except for numbers. Your scripts don't work? Who cares, set up more accounts. You get work orders? Ignore them and set up more accounts. Have a moral issue with the way the director is directing? Stuff it down, set up more accounts.
