Who's ready for crazy? Might be a little long, obviously depends on how much I type.

This weekend was at a soccer tournament for one of my daughters. After game 2 (Started at 8:15pm) a lady walks up to my wife and pulls her to the side. The game had literally just ended and the kids were still on the field. She told her that she thinks the man that was sitting near us was taking pictures of her. I saw him taking pictures of the game, but she (The lady) had noticed that the angles that he was putting the camera were not of the game. So she went near him so that she could see the screen of the camera. She was that he had pointed it at my wife and thought he took a picture. So I start watching the guy and he gets up and heads to the parking lot. I watched for a second to see if he was meeting someone out there, but then he went to another spot. It just struck me as odd. For those of you who don't know I'm a law enforcement Captain, and I just accepted the position of Chief, but it wont be official until this week. Anyway, while the lady is talking I head straight for him. I said "Sir, can I talk to you for a minute, and moved straight to him." You could see how uncomfortable he was with this, so I tried a tactic that I thought might work out. I said "I saw that you were taking pictures of the game, and my daughter was playing, but I didn't get to take any photos. Could I see some of the pictures you took to see if maybe you got a good picture?" He didn't like this and was really stand offish and wasn't going to show me any pictures. So my tactic changed. "I'm going to be straight with you, someone brought to my attention that you might have been taking questionable photos. I need to see those, and you are going to show them to me." At this point I pushed further and he turned on his camera. As it fired up it showed the last photo he took. It was a picture of my wife from the belly button down. She was just wearing short jean shorts. At this point I grab ahold of the camera and cover all the buttons, and he attempted to prevent me from taking the camera. He then asks if I have a badge. I then stated that I do work for law enforcement, but this has nothing to do with that, and that this is a grown up issue, and since he has pictures of my wife he can continue to try to fight me, but he will not like the outcome. I had leg locked him in preparation to dump him, and was in a pretty aggressive stance while holding the camera. He opted to back down, and I made him sit on the curb. With the camera in hand I start scrolling through the photos and videos. There were many videos but I didn't watch any of them. The pictures were all of her crotch, butt, and everytime she sat weird. Then I saw it, and I damn near lost it. I scroll to a picture of my 12 year old daughters crotch area while she was sitting in a chair in short shorts. I said "Are you fucking kidding me?! Thats my daughter!" Someone who was witnessing this immediately dialed 911 and called the police. I keep scrolling and find a lot of my 12 year old. Then I find pictures/videos from behind my 10 year old while she was laying in a romper. Then more kids. The guy attempted to get away but I just blocked him and threatened him. So he sat and waited for the police. It's so freaking hard when its your own kids. I never raised my voice, I never physically harmed him, but I was really wishing he tried to run. I saw another dad today at the next game and he said "How the hell were you that calm?!" Anyway they arrested him on voyeur charges. Its now up to the DA if they will subpena his electronics from his house and push this more.

Why voyeur charges though? You can sue him, harassment in public, pedophilia as a concerned citizen (not even someone who were involved in), verbal assault, physical assault (you can even claim that he attacked you with his camera, so the things inside of it would be evidence anyway even if you are wrong of your claim of physical assault),

Do not let him go.

Cons:
