Not really...I'm sure there are plenty of folks here who like musicals

 

IMO musicals are ALWAYS better live rather than a movie. The electricity, spirit and emotions coming from the stage effects you on a level that no movie can.

I was thinking that was probably the case....no filmed Phantom of the Opera ever came close to the stage shows (I saw Phantom at least 5 times, including at Pantages theater in Toronto...you know...when it was still called Pantages, lol)
