Truth.

Back before I lived here permanently, I was visiting on business and one day took a drive up to a very nice picturesque town on the banks of the river between PA and NJ. I wandered across the bridge to the NJ side, bought a bottle of wine to have with my dinner, wandered back.

I later found out that was illegal and I could've been snatched up by the police, prosecuted, gotten into all kinds of trouble.

I mean, W-H-A-A-A-T??? I was seriously baffled as to what kind of backwards twilight zone I'd found....
