I don't agree with this mentality. There is absolutely nothing wrong with not crippling oneself with debt and learning a trade. If that's the route he wants to go, and he is happy that way, maybe that's where he needs to be. that's just my input on that. I'm super smart, but my degree hasn't got me shit but student loans and some bad ass party memories.

This is not uncommon for teenagers. it's what they're supposed to do to figure stuff out. He has a plan, maybe it's not what you thought it would be, but it does sound like he has a plan. And it's not like he can't choose college later if he wants to. I finished graduate school when I was 32. Never too late.

 

Ah yes. That. I can't help you there. My husband says I change my mind so many times a day that my head spins faster than the eye can see and that's why I always have headaches. lmao
