    Man, I can't do the calling hits. Any of them. No matter the pay. I worked for a doctor's answering service for 5.5 years and I can not make phone calls willingly anymore (except the rare food delivery order). The repeated verbal abuse from patients, nurses and doctors has given me phone anxiety. It's terrible. My mom, who is 70 and never was interested in learning computers or new technology, was forced to learn to text because I can't answer the phone.

    oh but "I think you give up to easy, it's not that crazy hard ;-)"

    literally quoting the CFO that i was emailing back and forth with earlier. the things i could say about him if not for the forum rules.....

    some other tidbits:

    "Some people are good at getting someone to answer and others are not. Maybe this isn't your thing I don't know."

    "Because I know you genuinely tried I'll tell my person to pay you but going forward if you don't think you can get answers then don't try to do ours"

    "Believe me google my name and you'll see I'm an expert in crowdsourcing and I know the head of amazon's AWS division personally and I am friends with crowdflower CEO "

    "I do agree, though that it is not easy to get an answer but did you think it would pay that much and it would be easy. If so then you may not know MTurk very well."

    and my favorite: "I really don't know but I know Mturk really well and we've paid millions of dollars on Mturk so we are definitely not a scam."

    I'm right there with ya. Unfortunately I do have to answer the phone at my work sometimes and I hate it.

    I did phone support for Amazon one holiday season and the very first call after training was over the guy was screaming at me as soon as I picked up. I didn't like the phone before doing that job but ever since I really detest it :(

    I've worked in an around call centers for about 22 years now so I understand the intense hatred for making phone calls. I don't mind a decent paying hit that requires me to call but some of the questions I saw I didn't even know what they meant and I can imagine as an employee in a store being very suspicious of a call like that. Not to mention who works in retail and has 20 minutes to sit on the phone answering questions lol.

    @Alina that's pretty much what I would expect from someone posting that hit lol. Considering someone just paid me $10 to spend ten minutes looking at pictures of eyes he really doesn't know mturk very well. Especially if he thinks an $8 hit is some golden idol lol.

    How many calls were you supposed to do? I had their quals and used to do their hits like 3 years ago. They paid $75 for 8 completed surveys (calls).

    Jeez, they got you right on the first one! Luckily, I only have to do one daily phone call for work, and it's just essentially a remote team meet up where we say what we're programming and discuss any stucks we might have in such. Other than that, I don't have to do phone calls at work anymore. Most communication is email or chat.

    Don't do this hit. They say it takes 50 minutes and TO has people saying hit has expired before they could submit. Not worth it!

    edit: Or do it. I'm not your mother. Just sayin' tho.
