I posted some a week or so ago, but I'm adding a few more tomorrow when Mom brings them over (I left some at her house, couldn't fit everything into my car) so once I get those up and the lights run, I'll take more pics. I'm doing a graveyard that has a fence around it and caution tape that is in front of all of my other decorations in hopes that parents will catch a clue and keep their kiddies from running up and touching (thus knocking about) my decorations. This isn't an interactive display!

I'll also post Christmas ones once they're done. I'll start setting those up a couple of weeks into November but not light them until Thanksgiving night.

 

I hope my mom never sees this, but, yep. Not saying all Parisians are like this but if I were to sum up my experience in one word I'd say many Parisians struck me as "stressed" a lot of the time.

Lol! This pretty much sums up my work experience at the French XXXXXXX. Those who had spent the most time abroad were more laid back Those who had just been transferred from Paris seemed particularly prone to temper tantrums.

I'm sorry mom! Love you.

Vaguely related to this, but I lived abroad in good ol' France for awhile and I took (not impressive extension) classes at LCB in Paris, because I wanted to be like Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina/Julia Child. ANYWAY, I was relating a joke about this experience on our camping trip and my friend's gf says, "Bird, you know you could have just taken classes here, right? There are culinary schools here, too...that seems like a lot of effort for a class."

She also told me I didn't "have" to keep my cats cause "you know there are shelters you can drop them off at anytime, right?"

 

Haha that chick is really something else!
