I think a combination of using the internet all day everyday and are kids not remembering a time before the internet makes it seem so much older

 

I sometimes wonder how I functioned before the internet.

yeah when I had to write a research paper for school I had to actually go to the library and use a card catalog system and the index of a book to find one tiny little blurb related to my topic

Then I had to type it up on one of these things

 

Imagine trying to figure something out without the internet, hell I fixed my car by watching a youtube video.

I had one of these... it lost a paper of mine 10 pages the day before it was due

 

My old laptop was so bad it certainly felt like it too. I'm still getting used to pages loading instantly and being able to have more than 4 tabs open at a time
