We have a guy in our area that gives out orange safety vests to the parents and little flashlights. Practical... but.... still - throw some candy in there

I'm in the Cleveland area (not Cleveland, TN), and it's not "bright" but it's certainly not fully dark yet

 

Close. Midcoast Maine. Full dark was at 5:30 - but with the overcast and rain it was probably closer to 5:15

Totally. Every other year they have a special election question to try to put us on Nova Scotia/Atlantic Time Zone because it gets dark here so early but keeps getting voted down. Dreading Daylight Savings as it's miserable around 4:30.

Ok soliciting votes, bf wants to get pizza tonight and he is the least picky eater in the world so where we go is mostly on me. Should we:
1) Low effort, mid $$, low-to-mid quality - Order from our least preferred chain place that delivers, so little to no effort required but it's not the best.
2) Mid effort, low $$, mid quality - Go to pick up from the slightly more preferred chain, requires putting on some level of public-appropriate clothing, and still not the great but cheaper
3) High effort, high $$, high quality - Go to the local, high quality place; requires more $$ and I have to put on real clothes and will likely still suffer the shame of being an unhip hermit in a cool-kid atmosphere, but it's great pizza.

 

My family is in Cleveland/Detroit etc and when they come visit they freak out because it's dark so early (on the same time zone) and then light at an ungodly hour. They routinely have dinner at 9pm. Only Dominos has food after 8 here because it's been dark too long. It's an adjustment for sure.
