Well, on this one I give in to him. He feels that Thanksgiving gets cheated, he wants to give that holiday its proper honor, so I let him have this victory.

Most of the time I do what I want, as I'm the mama and the adult, I pay the bills, so I get to make all the decisions. But I respect this wish of his.

Oh dearie, no need at all to apologize! I hope my reply back didn't come off as harsh! I TOTALLY agree with you, fwiw! When he's the mortgage payer of his home he can make those decisions, lol. But I give in on this little one for him when it comes to holiday decorating. He allows me to put up the outside stuff, I just can't send any electricity to it until we get home from Thanksgiving dinner, lol. (I know, "allowed" is weird when I'm saying my kid tells me to do something).
