OLD OLD 1940 farm house was Reno'd by a Karen and there are giant gaps in the windows at the top that she used to plug with rags that would stop the window from opening at all. We took the rags out and are now trying to find the way to fill the holes. Along with the window separating from the wall at the bottom.
It is a ridiculous amount of bugs and I hate little bug feet crawling and the sounds of tiny hard shells knocking around.

We're spraying high grade wasp killer directly into the hole today. Found Blue lysol kills wasps just as quick as normal was spray but we only use that on surfaces we touch.

Oh that sucks. My house was built in 49 but fortunately construction is solid and there are few gaps. What did exist in the crank out windows I was able to seal up with some weather stripping fortunately.

I hope you can find a solution to keep them out of your home! I sympathize with your plight!!
