    Question that is probably asked 100 times a day but have mercy on me.

    I usually average around $20 a day turking. Not great but it helps. This weeks I can barely get to $10. Is this normal you hit these slumps and it picks back up? Only been doing this for around 2 months now.

    yup people have good and bad days.

    just hang in there and you'll get better at catching stuff and working efficiently.

    Most importantly - God Bless America.

    And second most importantly - don't put all your eggs in one basket. Multiple income sources is pretty important if you work on a platform with inconsistent earnings. Part-time jobs. Full-time jobs. Other work from home platforms, etc... Gotta get that money Hustle.

    Slumps are pretty normal and mturk can ebb and flow a lot. When I first started I struggled and it took a while before things clicked for me. Now I have a workflow/set up that works for me and I hit goal pretty much daily (barring laziness). You will pick up closed quals, learn tips/tricks and get better over time. It's like any job really except you don't make as much while you are learning.

    catch everything you can. Do the good paying stuff. Return bad paying stuff. Try to keep working and not get distracted. If you can't make it work - then mturk isn't a good platform to consider a full-time job, but a great extra cash kinda thing.

    For me, I don't have near the patience, motivation, or work-ethic to even consider quitting other income sources to work mturk fultime I get distracted and restless too easily.

    Pretty much this. You don't get paid hourly so if you have trouble focusing or staying on task Mturk can be horrid. Also even on "off" time you might want to keep watchers up for requesters you like.

    Example: Last night I missed a 7$ remesh because I forgot to turn my sound up and I was cooking. Work can pop up at any given time and being ready to catch it is the key. I don't suggest you work 24/7 but keeping an eye out for good work is always a good idea.
