What I don't like is it goes to my checking and I like control over when money goes in and out of my checking account. And I transfer over in even numbers when I need the money and haven't spent it.

They're going to screw this up. And probably explains the snafu from a couple of months ago when transfers didn't go through it seemed, then they all did, and those people got to keep the extra money. They were testing it out I bet, or pushed code they shouldn't have pushed live.

 

I suppose it's a tax compliance thing, there are probably workers only reporting whatever they transfer to their bank, using payments balance to make Amazon purchases.

I always just printed out my dashboard at end of year and reported the year to date earnings that way. My accountant said that was fine.

I still haven't received the email.

I agree, I like it the way that it is. So much less control this way. I read the email waiting for the catch.

 

payments is much more complicated than that. I can even pay my credit card balance with Amazon Payments, so transferring money is not related to tax, it is about the money that goes into the payments.

Actually I transfer money from payments to my bank account like 4-5 times a year. So what is the big deal?
