Rather than driving ourselves crazy quarterly trying to figure out ways to get masters, perhaps we should focus on educating requesters as to how negligible the difference between the vast majority of masters and non masters workers actually is. There's been so many hits that require masters that I know I would have smacked out of the park if they just gave non masters a shot to prove it.

i'ma be perfectly honest, after 6 years doing this, outside of qual hits that i see in this forum, i have no idea how to increase my odds at finding quals

Just doing HITs. I received this morning a closed qual from a requester I have previously worked for on stuff that didn't have any qual. His HITs never mentioned he would go closed qual or that they were to qualify for other stuff, but he liked my work (and of others, I'm not special), so just doing HITs gets you quals.

 

Hubby said same thing and called it in, he could hurt someone.

 

Ok, first day back at work for my bf after our vacation and he had a shitty day - what dinner would you prefer to have waiting for you after a poop fest of a day? Breakfast for dinner (toast, hashbrowns, sausage, a bit of veg to keep up the appearance of health), some sort of stir fry (lots of veggies, brown rice or noodles, tofu, some sort of almond-butter-based sauce), or just classic (fake/veggie) chicken nugget and roasted broccoli?

Also, to piggy back, sometimes reaching out to a requester you see post with closed quals and asking works, too.

I'm not saying spam requesters! That's bad. DON'T SPAM REQUESTERS WITH ASKS FOR QUALS.

I reached out to one in a super nice way and did a bunch of "free" work to prove I could do it, and got a qual. It's not really a huge money maker but there's often stuff up I can poke at in downtime.

if I wasn't so bored rn, I would use this to see if anything looks good. I have used it before a couple times, not with stellar results, but it has definitely increased my PE when it was low. @tricker I wasn't joking it's a thing

Awesome, he was just so above having to speak to me at all. After talking with my husband though we decided to file it and let whatever happens, happen. I was laying on my horn and there was nowhere I could go. My daughter was in the passengers seat and it scared her more than anything, but she is 12. Might be time to take grandpas keys. I drive a Chevy HHR, but he said he couldn't see me out his rear window????
