I've tried the report problem with this transaction button on payments but the page takes too long to load and errors out. When this has happened in the past it only takes a day or so to fix so I'm being cautiously optimistic for now I guess.

 

Enough that they decided to axe Amazon Payments. The point @Mothra brought up about having direct deposits to your bank account being harder to hide in case of tax fraud is also a point, though I think they're keeping the gift card option so maybe not.
