I was told by a fellow worker a requester was looking for more workers for a closed qual and would I like them to give the requester my name. Now I knew this work would require more image editing skill than I had at the time but I was confident I could learn it so I said yes and spent the weekend researching , practicing and getting comfortable with the specific skills needed for that task all that time was unpaid but I knew the qual would be worth it. Then once I got the qual I was not real fast at first so sure I wasn't making as much as I could but I eventually got there as I got more proficient. Same thing with VRAPI God do you know how long I used to spend on a single hit but I have a better workflow now and more knowledge about what to look for and where. It's been said before by me and others but this is a business (your one person business) not a job which means training and building your "client base" is usually done on your own time and pays in future earnings not when actually done.
