Dear Amazon Mechanical Turk user,

Thank you again for participating in the study 'Academic study (~13 minutes, additional bonus)'.
Unfortunately, you have submitted the HIT multiple times.
I now understand why this happens and am going to prevent this in the future (the reason are PandA scripts).
As this HIT is supposed to be done only once, I usually would reject all of your submissions but one.
However, I do not want to hurt your MTurk acceptance rate statistic. Therefore, I have decided on the following approach:
I will accept all of your HIT submissions, which pay you $0.50 each. I will then reduce the bonus you receive from the study by the amount I overpaid you in rewards.
In this way, you will receive the full payment announced at the end of the study such that there is no disadvantage to you. The only difference is that you receive a larger part of your payment through rewards from accepted submissions and a smaller part through the bonus.

At least we won't have to eat the rejections.

I emailed them and asked. I did several already but I think I'm just going to return what's in my queue. I rated the content at the bottom (the sentiment) as if it was in the correct space, so my data is good. But I'm just not going to chance it, or hurt a good requester by forcing them to pay for data that they can't use.
