Glad you found a way to find those skills! I'm trying to help my son, but I do know I might be a wee bit too close to be completely effective at this age. Just hoping that when he's off to college (or junior college while still living at home) some of this pays off.

 

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but i used to have this fucking incredibly awesome handmade polish pottery collection that i had collected over the years. Bowls, plates, serving platters, butter trays, the whole kit n caboodle. None of it matched but it was all incredibly beautiful. I ended up ebaying most of it for a pretty penny. No one enjoyed it as much as I did. I feel that you would have appreciated it though.

What's arena FPS?

he's played TF2. Doesn't play it much any longer, but he has played it. Since I dunno what arena FPS (I know that means first person shooter!) is I'm unsure if he's played that.

An arena FPS is basically just games like Quake or Unreal Tournament. It's a specific genre of FPS games that are focused on a) fast and b) movement in addition to raw aim, so the skill ceiling is much higher than something like, say, Call of Duty. Pretty much the only one that's semi-alive nowadays is Quake Champions, though TF2 does have some of that old school Quake feel.

 

Lol I'm mid learning this. I still have no clue how to handle anger in a healthy way so I just go pet Beans till I can think again. Better then broken things.

 

I played Quake back in the early, early days. The late 90s. Loved that damn game. Kept me from studying a lot. But what that looked like and how that worked and how video games are now are so completely different!!!

The old Quake game looks like Duke Nukem.

 

That's a bit different than what I was talking about. I was talking about buying or not buying an item you really wanted specifically if they did or didn't have the color you wanted and to why as it was so much more important than getting a good deal/other factors or traits. Though, +1000 points for customizing your own items, a lot of people are to lazy to take the time to do that for themselves.

I'm always scared to try and play it again.

I also stay away from Diablo III. I lost so much of my life to Diablo II it was unreal. The kid's father and I both got sucked in. Last time he was here and we were chatting he told Kid that yep, both your mom and I used to fight for computer time over that game. Diablo II is why he won't touch another video game, too addicting, lol.
