transcribe this will reject but isn't bad in some cases and if you're only 150/mo it's worth at least trying to look into transcription as a side gig (if you like/take to it get off mturk for it though) just throw back trash w/ heavy accents/stupidity

As for general MTurk.. are you doing it FT? PT? Hours are kinda helpful to set a realistic window of what you can get to w/o being insane

And I think I've gotten some kind of error for Transcribe This. I can try unblocking them and trying a HIT. (Or perhaps signing up for Rev again)

I'm doing it part time for a couple of hours each day, though about 1-1.5 hours of this is actual work. My survey avg. is $12.28, and my adjusted avg. is $10.10. Usually I earn $200-300 a month.

 

If someone is working on MTurk FT and are only hitting $150/mo Transcribe This straight up is not bad (as of the last time I had them unblocked, which was 2016ish outside of that fire run they had a few months ago). It's the baby shoes way of learning how to do transcription, or more importantly, how to learn that you hate transcription and send all the decent masters transcription tasks to @jessers
