    Matt-bot, when the jeep (which is my primary car) has 1/3 of a tank and he's using it for the first time this month: Oh, I see you left me NO GAS!

    Matt-bot, when he's driving the jeep and knows I'm using it the next day: The light is on, but that just means you have 30 miles left in the tank, byeeeee!

    Yea. It comes with this adapter thing if you don't have a C wire. Open up your HVAC thing, whatever the thing in the attic is, and unplug and re-route some wires. It sounds more complicated than it is, basically you're just matching up colors but I know some (smart?) people won't be comfortable doing so.

    Yep. Decided to do it Friday because (long story) her parents where we do Christmas is having some rough financial times right now and I sorta felt bad letting her open it there.

    She said she liked them but I know it's pity. It will just be another reason for her inevitable murderous betrayal.

    you guys are talking smart thermostats. No idea which one I want. I want a learning one, but honestly I just want to program it so it turns off during the day and back on when we are going ot be home. I dont mind the C-wire install since its one more project i get to do.
