Yea that's not a fun spot to be in, like I choose to not write checks because of technology. I know my parents still have checks but I have no need to do that. If you don't like people or tech I'm not sure what to do then...

One thing I hate about tech/social media is it teaches kids how to not communicate. Like no one has phone etiquette anymore or any concept of how to really talk to anyone. Like most young people today are mortified to talk to anyone in person or god for bid speak in front of a group because all they do is text. It's really stunting to social development.

 

I feel like we are gimping a generation and that's it going to affect so many different things greatly before we get the chance to realize the damage that it's done

I don't think it will change, there's so much money in all of that. I think maybe at some point we'll eventually realize that giving an 8 year old a social media account is like giving them drugs. Take away your teens phone, they act like a drug addict that is losing their fix, so to me that is not a good thing. But I don't expect to see a ton of change because of the money made in all of this.

I think everyone will be good until we see tech, mainly robots and androids that start taking away middle class jobs. When people can't get a warehouse or factory job anymore or really anything that doesn't require 4 years of college because a robot can do it...then there will be outcry.

Debated returning this halfway through but had already invested so much time. Horribly underpaid. 15-20 pages of bubbles, maybe more. Progress bar is accurate.
