I would much rather have a list and buy someone things they actually want! I always get my girls to make Google Doc lists with links. I do manage to buy a few things that are not on the list that I know they will like so there are some surprises.

I have no idea who that is, but just looking at him I get the feeling he mocks the coach of the other kids team because their uniforms are a little dirty and worn out. I imagine he's the villain in an 80's heartwarming film where the down on his luck guy is forced to coach a bunch of rowdy kids. When those kids beat all odds and win, this is the guy grabbing his main players helmet and yelling obscenities as the victory music plays.

 

The Red Wings have been shit since he left so...I'll take him back.

 

I think that is more on how great players got old, retired, or left. The Wings team is pretty gutted right now.

 

That was the beginning of the end, Lidstrom retired, Babcock bolted then it was Datsyuk going to Russia and Zetterberg is like 80 now.

It doesn't help that they kept a GM that lost his touch and have a head coach that's a boob. Bringing back Yzerman to be GM was the first good move in awhile.
