Parent folks.. daycare.. pros/cons? Things to ask/figure out? Halp.

 

@ThisPoorGuy @leafs4_cup @gurlondrums @AMindAtTurk k I'm tired of tagging

 

Enjoy paying 1/4th of your entire household income to daycare.

 

Money wise it's ass, it is good however for kids socialization to be around other small children.

 

Pros - you can still have a somewhat normal schedule, children get used to a routine and that's about it.
Cons - someone else is involved in the raising of your kid, it's expensive as all get out, you don't really know the level of care and love they're getting, you will constantly worry.

Questions to ask - this one really isn't a question, but drop by unannounced, and check out how things are being ran, ask about holidays/vacations if you're still required to pay, ask about food/nutrition/allergy accommodations (just in case), ask how many kids per room/teacher, ask about biting and their policy on it. Trust me.
