Can u get denied bonuses that u qualified for? Like if they say "you get a bonus of x amount within a week"

 

I mean, they could just never pay it out. I think I've had that happen before

 

requesters have no obligation and are not really held accountable for paying you anything at all.

They tend to do pay though, as it's usually university money, so there's no real reason not to do it other than negligence, forgetfulness, or just dumbsnickery

 

or in the case of the ivy leagues. - having no idea wtf they're doing
