I also have about a 3-inch black strip along the far left side of my screen that I was never able to remedy after trying everything I could (spent hours reading various sites, watching YouTube vids, etc...). That was years ago when some of the display drivers updated, the screen flashed crazily and then appeared the black strip... so I don't have full use of the entire screen. It's not so bad as I just got used to it. I'll try and fix it again after I restart my computer to apply the rescaling back to 100%. Maybe that'll help...

 

Think of how much you'll save over the years by using reusable bags. Also, you can straight up get your son to earn his own allowance by returning plastic bottles and picking up cans.

 

Children are the most useful for this, because they don't know what their time is worth.

He doesn't really have time to go get a job job right now, not unless we drop some of his hard classes (way too much homework) so at least this way he makes money.

He already has way more money in an actual savings account than most adults. That's after buying all his video games and gaming devices, so for his age it's working out. (He also does house/yard/pet sitting for neighbors to make money.)
