Dark Tower is awesome.

Dead Zone. The Stand. Night Shift. all amazing

Thinner is creepy.

Different Seasons is a great collection of four short stories.

I'm also loving the Hulu Castle Rock series mainly because if you're a King fan it's a total homage to you. There are so many nuggets of King lore built in the show, things I even miss and find when I read about them online. I love how it's weaving his "universe" together into new stories.

When a requester says "you will receive a 5 dollar bonus" or some larger bonus, do you guys put it towards your PE in your head or do you still go for the number you were originally going for? It's such an easy way for me to enable my own laziness to just be like "yeaaah i'm 5 under but that bonus tho"

Totally! You watching the Castle Rock series? Omg. It's making me want to re-read so much. I'm actually considering audiobooks to see if they're creepier that way!!

If you like that sort of thing, Sanderson had been doing a great job of it. Fantasy and a bit of Sci Fi rather than horror, but the world building is great and most of the books are excellent. They tie together in the same way(kinda loosely over time), but everything that isn't a series is stand alone. And the series stand alone as well.

Depends.

If I'm getting up at 3 am to do Choice Labs (when I'm not qualled out) then that for sure goes to daily PE because I GOT UP AT 3 AM.

However, otherwise? unless the bonus is making up for what would have been a totally crappy hourly, it's just bonus money (if that makes sense? If it's a good paying hit with an added bonus, then that is "extra" but if I'm doing the hit just for the bonus, it's part of my daily goal).

 

I still want to come up with some way to steal your mysterious and robotic power. Every time I return a hit like, no I'm not doing that, I think of you.

 

I adore world building. When I was younger I was an Anne McCaffrey freak. Dragonriders of Pern was my jam. Then I got into all of her other worlds.

Tried to get Kiddo into her and it didn't work. I was crushed.

I'm going to check out Sanderson.
