So now, some of us have a useless qual that pays peanuts...

 

Sorry for the delay, I started typing it out of memory, then started being full of doubts, then searched the whole place to find the recipe, and now I've been looking through my messages to see if I have it anywhere and can't find it, so I'm texting my mom. I think the recipe is complete, but I feel like I'm missing something...

Spoiler: recipe

1 onion (typically yellow, would very probably work with any other types) chopped
2 big fat sweet potatoes (3 medium size would be fine) cubed
1 rutabaga cubed

Heat 8 cups of water (with chicken broth). Boil the potatoes until soft, add the rutabaga, keep heating until rutabaga is also soft.
During that time, pan cook the onions, when ready, add to the boiling mess.
When you feel everything is cooked, crush everything with a handheld blender.
Once everything is purréed, normally you should add some heavy cream and maple syrup (I usually use the good stuff, but you won't taste the difference in the soup if you use the regular stuff). I don't add cream because it won't be good for super long and I make like a gallon for 2 people, so it has to be good for a while.

Now you should have a soup dense enough to hold a big spoon afloat and fill you up with a bowl or two

Sigh...seeing everyone whine about this makes me think I have to do it too, and I really don't know why I'm risking a rejection for a measly two cent qualifier for what's probably a batch given that I hate batches.

Yeah don't do it. The batch is ass. It's the same thing as the qual, and for the same price.

When @awdrf said it was $.02, I was like "oh two cents an item isn't bad".

Nope. Two cents for like 10. Run far away.

tbh, if the requester didn't reject on qual hits, I prob would use them when there was nothing else going on. When you get good at them can prob knock them out in 5-10 seconds. But not when I'm risking hundreds of rejections for such bad pay.
