    Let me tell you a lil back story on that.... We got hired in for a brand new store here in town. Now imagine produce on a grand opening. Imagine having absolutely shit employees that were not willing to learn no matter how much you trained them. Now add that onto assistant managers that won't let me discipline said employees. The week after grand opening I had the weekend off.... my workers left 3 skids of bananas in the backroom under plastic. They liquefied and also didn't get marked down or reduced and I didn't find that out until later. After months of this garbage I just said I was done! Didn't hate the work or the position just didn't want to be responsible for people I could not manage.

    My kid wanted an Xbox, a playstation, a 3DS, now she wants a Switch. Sigh :ac:

    She got the Xbox and DS.

    We have the PC. It plays games. Why does she need all this "stuff"? Emulators serve their purpose. I said "No way !"to the Switch this year.

    i'm going to be straight up.

    you may make them uncomfortable and make them feel bad. - if you agreed to not get each other anything - I think it's best to stick to that agreement.

    Why not just wait it out and give them something after christmas, as more of a "Check this out! I think you'll like it" - kind of thing, rather than an obligated christmas sort of thing. Not tied to any sort of festivities, but more of a thoughtful non-christmas slamiggery

    Yeah produce is definitely one of those places that you pretty much can't manage on your own. If your employees associates suck it makes life so much harder. My associate I had in pharmacy used to be a department manager and she was the best lol, she did so much to help.
