Sounds like they determine payment based on three things:

1. Use of a VPN
2. Attention checks
3. Effort on open-ended questions

Maybe you failed one of the three.

 

I note that they also mention the attention check procedures. If you're certain your IP isnt the issue, you may have missed an attention check.

yeah I know-- I settled on the VPN thing because it has happened before (this survey didn't say they use a system to verify like some others--if I come across those, I just return the hit just in case)

I know I didn't miss AC's and I usually write more than expected

Me too, starting to think its going to be a long December...

 

I am in NO way tech savvy. That's @ChrisTurk , but I know that occasionally people have had Chrome think they were in the wrong country. Maybe check your setting to make sure it still says you're in the US?

I haven't been around much lately and even when I am it's not obvious because I don't post a lot. But in honor of an upcoming football game, I thought that I would appropriately change my avatar to show my support. I think there are a couple of people (hmmmm ) here who support that team that they are going to beat. So, here it is.

 

Sorry you're having to deal with this. It's a very unique issue. Hopefully your ISP would have answers as to why your IP address doesn't match your location.

yeah thanks- I can afford to get a couple hundred more rejections before it impacts me, but I just don't like getting one I don't deserve

 

What are some good scripts people use now? I used to use hit scraper back in the day but it's defunct now and I'm only getting back into turking recently.
