Evening all. How has everyone's Monday been? Had a bunch of docs appointments (routine but took them 12 tries for one stick for my labs ouch, ouch and ouch) - ready for some night turking

actually, nothing scary happened, they made to me enter my routing and account number only, and asked a question to confirm that the displayed name is my actually name.

I chose 3 days option, and I will wait 19th Dec, to let you guys know.

For those who have set up the new option and who were previously transferring to bank accounts, do you have to set up the bank account again or does it retain what you've already verified?

Because that part scares me, lol.

 

You have to enter your account and routing #'s again, but there's no verification. Pretty painless.

 

Ahhhhh....thanks! I've been too afraid to try to check. I transferred everything I could last night and it went normally.

 

This sounds like it'll backfire quickly oh god lol

 

I may wait, then, and do one more big transfer to payments to pay for any other stuff I want then go for it.

they asked you whether the account is in your name or not. I am pretty sure that they are just checking with AP, but not with your bank.

 

Feel so much better that I'm not alone, lol.

 

@AlexZ or someone.. can you confirm if the place you enter bank details is actually on MTurk's domain? Like worker.mturk.com/bank or something?

 

Where is this banner supposed to be showing up?

 

It asked me to add a bank account; it didn't grab it from Amazon Pay. It didn't mention anything about verifying and doesn't indicate it on my new "manage payment preferences dashboard" or whatever it's called.

Also, I did a transfer this morning and then I got the orange bar, signed up, and 30 mins. later I got the email that the transfer earnings (from this morning) was complete. Everything was normal.
