could just be because i only have 3600 approved but i almost always spend more time looking for HITs than doing them, and honestly i wish the time spent looking for them could be logged as well, as it is part of the work. the only time i spend more time doing HITs than looking is when noah turk posts. then i just go hog wild on those until there's none left or my brain hurts

 

Spend that time doing fun shit, like reading this forum.

Good morning! If anyone is wondering about the new payment schedule thing, I found this on the reddit this morning. Apparently someone emailed them about it.


Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk,

A new simplified Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) payment disbursement option is now available. This new option will enable you to have your MTurk payments deposited directly into your US bank account on a regular schedule. You can adjust your payment settings to occur every 7, 14, 30, or 60 days depending on the cadence that works best for you.

You will no longer be able to add earnings to your Amazon Payments account after January 15, 2020 so we encourage you to set up the direct transfer method before then.

In order to start using this new direct deposit option for your US bank account, there are a few steps you will need to follow:

* In your Dashboard, go to the Manage Payment Preferences tab and confirm or update your bank account information and select the payment schedule that works for you.
* In order to change your U.S bank account information, you will need your Routing Number and Account Number. Please note that your MTurk account name and your bank account holder name must match exactly.
* You can choose an auto-payment frequency of 7, 14, 30 or 60 days.
* You can see the next scheduled payment on the Dashboard on the Overview tab under Available Payments. Please note that there is a two-day delay from the time you complete a task to when it is included in your transferable payments total and that there can also be a delay in the availability of funds depending on the policies of your financial institution of choice. Check with your financial institution for details.

If you don’t have a US bank account, follow these steps to disburse payment through Amazon Gift Cards:

* To select Amazon Gift Cards as a preferred payment mode, go to the Manage Payment Settings Tab and select “Transfer to your Amazon Gift Card Balance”
