Shaving and showering is better too. Soap lathers much better in softer water. I got filter and softener system on my house a few years ago and it makes a huge difference. My hair is much softer too (when I actually wash it, which is almost never ).

The water kettle doesn't get buildup in it either. I only have to clean that thing out like once a year now.

 

Maybe now's not the best time to mention what hard water does to you in the shower
