I grew up on well water. Without the water softener my skin was like a desert after. I was super happy with the parents got a water softener put on the house.

 

I had well water my whole life. Even with the softener it was pretty shit lol

I have well water now, and have never had well water in the past. However the well water I have now is a public well and they do stuff to it like clorinate it and fluorinate it and what not. It's pretty hard, but not nearly as bad as some other waters I've experienced.

I'm kind of weird though and sort of enjoy the taste of minerally water. It feels more refreshing and enriching if that makes sense. It doesn't, I know. but

 

Well, not so much. I often see the shit our plumbers deal with.

They totally deserve $115/hour for what they do.
