I approve of this message

 

• This is arguably untrue. For example, if you use bullet points and then write an enormous wall of text on your slides, it's tedious, hard to parse, distracting to the eye, and ultimately irritating as all get out. Furthermore, the deliberate eschewing of using bullet points to indicate succinct and discretely organized points is very, very irritating. Finally, the most annoying part is when the presenter insists on reading out the bullet point text WORD...FOR...WORD! Because, of course, they assume their audience is stupid and can't read perfectly well for themselves.
• Actually, I might argue that it's even provably untrue. See this entire post for example. Proving my point. Awful, isn't it?
• Even worse if they mix and match fonts and colors to emphasize within the bullet points!
• I mean, this is just getting silly, right?
• In conclusion, @ChrisTurk is wrong.
