Probably not, I was just teasing @SAJ because I know he is from New England.
We have clammers selling out of their trucks on the side of the road in muck boots and the appetizer I'm bringing to a Christmas Eve party is oysters because "we got a guy who has a guy with a bucket-ful"

 

LOL yeah not likely they watch the quality pretty well and wouldn't sell you bad seafood.

It's more it's shit to me because back home I can hit the docks or even get a license and go dig a bucket of clams etc etc The from the dock fresh compared to from the plane fresh is miles apart if you grew up in New England and was raised on the Lobstahs Tit

I think it's funny that people are wow-ing this. But honestly if you search Giphy and clams this was the only PG rated thing that popped up. Apparently clams are... a bit icky in the wild.
